Salinas' Fast for Peace may cross border
Salinas Californian, November 18, 2008 - Salinas Mayor Dennis Donohue will take his Fast for Peace crusade international next month, and may return with another bright idea - "Lights for Peace" - to help end months of killings and mayhem that have left this city one death shy of a record-busting year for murder.

Salinas, CA - May 30, 2008 - Mayor Dennis Donohue will gain first-hand experience of police work when he joins the Salinas Police Department's Community Police Academy this Monday.
During the 12-week program, the Mayor will earn about police hiring and training; laws covering arrest, search and seizure; canine operations and more. He will also go on a police ride-along.
