July 1, 2008 - Mayor Dennis Donohue is sticking with his plans for Peace, Prosperity and Image, and, despite the national economic downturn, believes they are starting to pay off, in no small part thanks to the contributions of people from across Salinas. The Mayor gave that message in his mid-year State of the City address July 1, 2008 before the Salinas Valley Chamber of Commerce.
